Turn local knowledge into a post.

Choose one place you recommend or a question a client asked, check the facts and plan when to post it.

  1. Choose something specific.

Start with a place you actually visit or a question a client recently asked. A detail such as the quiet patio or the first repair you would check gives people something useful to remember.

  2. Check the photo and facts.

Use your own photo or get permission. For a business or event, check the address, opening details, date and cost against its official source. Check again right before you publish.

Save this for your visit. A card with fields for the place name, checked address, hours or booking detail, and the official source with the date it was checked.
Slide 4 of the member template The place I keep recommending has a line for each fact you check.
  3. Give the post one job.

Put the recommendation or question first. Add a detail from your own experience. Finish with a practical next step, such as a visiting tip or a question people can answer from experience. The place I keep recommending lays this out slide by slide.

  4. Put it on your calendar.

Choose a day when the post will still be useful. Leave yourself time to collect a photo and verify the facts. Add the idea to the calendar you already use, with a reminder to gather anything you still need.
